It could have been one of those program-defining nights. Less than two years into its existence, the University of West Florida’s football team found itself on the cusp of a victory over a ranked opponent and with an opportunity to emerge as a surprise contender in the Gulf South Conference.

Navarre’s boys and girls swim teams competed at the Panama City Beach Invitational Saturday. The boys placed 13th and the girls were 15th. A total of 20 teams competed.
James Segrest is new to Navarre. This is only his first season with the Raiders after moving to Florida from Arkansas, where his dad was a former position coach for the Razorbacks.
