The Navarre Raider volleyball team is ranked ninth in the latest 6A MaxPreps rankings.
The Raiders are 10-1 on the season and have rattled off 10 consecutive wins, a streak that is believed to be the longest in school history.
Raider girls golf team optimistic after opening match
One week after its opening match of the season rained out, Navarre’s girls golf team finally played, facing off against Pace and Gulf Breeze in a tri-match at Tiger Point Thursday.
On a warm and sunny afternoon, the Raiders produced a 202 as a team, led by the effort of Hailey Netro, who came through with a 48. Madison Fields, a move-in from Indiana, also shot under 50 as she checked in with a 49.
Perfect 10! Navarre volleyball team sets mark for longest win streak
With game point hanging in the balance for Navarre in a tightly contested in-region battle with Tate on the road, Hailey Snider calmly sent her serve over the net.
Moments later, the ball came zipping past her as Tate’s return sailed out of bounds. Snider threw up her arm to signal it was out, stomped her foot and joined her teammates in a celebration on the court that featured wide smiles and joyful screams.
