Once he hit the pool, Reed looked as if he was swimming as fast as he has all season.

Athena Hicks and Gavin Anthony had the best times among the Navarre Raider runners at the District 1-4A meet Thursday morning at Bartram Trail.

Hicks was the top runner among the girls with a time of 22:11.60 and placed 70th overall.
