The early excitement of a 17 to nothing lead quickly dissipated for Navarre as the Raiders gave up three touchdowns and the win to their rival, the Gulf Breeze Dolphins, Friday, May 19.
The Raiders did show some promise on both sides of the ball, especially on defense through most of the time varsity played as they caught two interceptions. The first quarter was mostly a defensive struggle, with the Raiders scoring on a touchdown once and the Dolphins not getting anywhere close.

Blue Wahoos Notebook: Monteverde’s magic continues to make wins appear
Patrick Monteverde has been downright brilliant for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos this season. That didn’t change last Wednesday night in a 7-4 win over the Tennessee Smokies.
Monteverde, the Southern League Player of the Week in April, improved to 5-0 on the season as he helped the Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins stretch their win streak to 10 games.
