Raider volleyball team rallies to knock off Crusaders
When Mackenzie England tipped the ball over the net to put Navarre ahead by a point in a tense and thrilling final set of a showdown with Pensacola Catholic last Thursday night, the Raider senior knew the team was right where it wanted to be.
“We had so much adrenaline after we got the lead. Our energy picked up even more and we took off from there,” England said.

Sczesny inspired to swim her best
Claire Sczesny started swimming in middle school. Though she’s taken a few breaks here and there from the sport, it’s been something she has put a lot of time and effort into over the years.
Her sister, Olivia, a former Navarre Raider swimmer, helped encourage her to get into the sport.
Golf Roundup: Raider girls finish third at Marcus Pointe
Navarre’s girls golf team finished third at a four-team match at Marcus Pointe in Pensacola last Tuesday.
Hailey Netro had the top score for the Raiders, shooting a 48.
Her score was the fourth-lowest score of the day overall. Navarre shot a 209 as a team. Gulf Breeze won the meet with a 181.

The plane ride back to New York is going to be an enjoyable one for Michael Carter and the Jets.
Carter accumulated 50 yards to total offense and helped New York rally for a 31-30 win over Cleveland Sunday afternoon in Ohio.

EJ Love fielded the ball on the opening kickoff of the second half just in front of the 10-yard line and took off running, something the sophomore running back does well.
He raced through the defense with relative ease on an 87-yard run, spinning off a couple of defenders and sprinting to the end zone.

Raider Game Day! Navarre opens district play against Tate
District play begins tonight for the Navarre football team as it hits the road to take on Tate.
The Raiders and Aggies square off at 7 p.m. at Pete Gindl Stadium and Navarre is hoping to take its first step towards a championship for the first time since 2018.
