The United Way of West Florida (UWWF) has announced the allocation of $675,128.27 in grant funding for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 to support local nonprofits. The site formerly slated for an RV park on Navarre Beach has been placed on the market.

The 23.12-acre site, located directly west of Paradise Point Drive, was approved for an RV park by the Santa Rosa County Commission in October 2023. According to the Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser’s website, the site has been owned by Santa Rosa Development LLC since December 2012 and is appraised at $12,737,250. The sale price is listed as $26,500,000.

Santa Rosa County Animal Services is proudly joining forces with Petco Love – formerly known as the Petco Foundation, a national non-profit working to lead and inspire change for animals – and animal welfare groups across the state of Florida on a shared mission to find homes for 2,000 dogs and cats in shelters. The Petco Love Florida Mega Pet Adoption Event will take place on June 28th, 29th and 30th in Petco stores and local animal shelters.
