The Holley Navarre Fire Protection District experienced another first on Monday at a special meeting when it signed the district’s first-ever union agreement with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF).

The Navarre area’s main thoroughfare will be undergoing a facelift beginning this week. Work is scheduled to begin on a resurfacing project of U.S. Highway 98 (also referred to as SR 30) on June 13. Santa Rosa Commissioners are gearing up for what is expected to be a contentious budgeting process.
