County Commission debates Navarre beach bridge options
Santa Rosa County Commissioner Jim Melvin envisions construction of a four-lane bridge connecting Hwy 87 with Gulf Boulevard on Santa Rosa Island as a possible long-term solution for area traffic congestion. Santa Rosa County Commissioners discussed that idea along with other short- and long-term traffic solutions at their July 8 committee meeting, following a presentation about a recent traffic study by county traffic engineering consultant Volkert, Inc.
