The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested the owners of Kirkham Kattery Rescue in Milton on charges of animal cruelty after 225 felines were removed from their residence. After removal, the cats were taken to the Santa Rosa County Animal Services facility where Dr. Natalie Dyson, a Navarre veterinarian, worked late into the night evaluating the animals.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is urging boaters to go slow and be vigilant on the Choctawhatchee River.
