Area bakery tempts dogs’ taste buds from miles
A Fort Walton Beach bakery’s decorative cakes, ice cream and homemade treats might look good enough to eat, but owner Nicole Poch warns that they may taste a little different. That’s because her bakery and specialty shop, 3 Dogs and a Chick, sells treats for four-legged clients — and their owners come from as far as Navarre and all across the Emerald Coast for those tasty treats.

Hurlburt Field has new entry procedures
HURLBURT FIELD – There’s a new way to come and go on Hurlburt Field. Beg is now inning last Monday, July 29, base access is now using the Trusted Traveler Program. The Trusted Traveler Program allows all Department of Defense identification cardholders (DoD employees, active-duty military, family members ages 18 and older and retired service members) to vouch for occupants in their immediate vehicle, provided the Trusted Traveler vehicle operator possesses a valid DoD ID card.

TDC seeks active members for council
