Voters say no to new courthouse
Once again Santa Rosa County voters have opposed the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners’ effort to enact a local option sales tax (LOST) to fund construction of a new judicial facility to replace the aging county courthouse, which was originally built in 1927.

Voters say ‘no’ to incorporation study
In a debate that divided Navarre for months, voters Tuesday night showed their lack of support for the possible incorporation of Navarre, with nearly 6,000 people voting no in the straw poll. The unofficial vote was 5,993-4,765 against continuing the study of incorporation.
