Gulf Coast Cable to add jobs
In its third expansion during the past seven years, Gulf Coast Cable LLC plans to open a new warehouse in Santa Rosa Industrial park and add 110 jobs over the next two years, 25 of them within 90 days.

Holley-Navarre Fire District commissioner resigns
At the Oct. 5 Holley-Navarre Fire District Board Meeting, fire commissioner William Painter resigned his position effective immediately. He read a statement to the board members: “After much consideration and discussion with my family, I have decided to resign my position with the Holley-Navarre Fire District effective immediately.” The commissioners, though seemingly surprised by the move, thanked Painter for his time on the board and his contributions to the fire district. Without any further explanation, Painter excused himself from the meeting.

Summit Drive arson investigation ongoing
In the early morning hours of June 7, firefighters responded to a fully involved fire at 7057 Summit Drive in Holley by the Sea. According to Holley-Navarre Fire District Chief Ron Norton, the 2,600 square-foot home was a total loss.
