Union leaders fight to increase teacher pay

Local seashore management proposes $15 fee to use beach road
Presently there is no fee to drive along Earl Bowden Way, the scenic island corridor between Navarre and Pensacola beaches. However, local park service employees are proposing a change which would result in a $15 charge to use the sole beach connector road located within Gulf Islands National Seashore (GUIS).
