Explosive Ordnance Disposal airmen conduct post-blast analysis training
Hurlburt Field, Fla., — After an explosion, when the smoke settles and the blaze has been contained, a new mission begins. Like a puzzle, shrapnel blasted in every direction can be pieced together to uncover the mode of detonation. The 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal airmen are trained to do just that.

Armed home invasion, suspect arrested
On Friday, Nov. 27 a call was made on a burglary in progress with shots fired on Sevilla Street. Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the call and dispatch advised them that the suspect was being detained by the homeowner.

A 45-year-old Jay woman, Kimberly Ann Seevers, is accused of sexually assaulting a Jay High School student and providing alcohol to minors at her home. The incidents allegedly occurred in January and/or February.

Navarre man stabs mother’s boyfriend on Thanksgiving
One family’s Thanksgiving came to a violent end in Navarre. According to an arrest report issued by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, Benjamin Luther, 24, of Tavira Street in Navarre was arrested for aggravated battery and domestic violence.
