For residents of Santa Rosa County who are among the 3 million Floridians with hearing loss, help has arrived. Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. (FTRI), the nonprofit distributor of amplified telephones for people with hearing loss and speech challenges, is offering a new amplified telephone at no cost to local residents with hearing loss, the company announced in a press release.

Children’s Hospital’s expanded NICU welcomes first baby
At a little more than 1 month old, Nathaniel Bowersox celebrated a major milestone with The Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart. Nathaniel became the first baby to move into the facility’s expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
