More than 50,000 military and veteran concealed weapon license applications expedited
In the wake of attacks against military personnel in Chattanooga, Tenn., last summer, Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam announced that the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services would expedite Florida concealed weapon license applications for active-duty military members and veterans. To date, the department has expedited more than 50,000 concealed weapon license applications for active-duty military members and veterans.
