Washington (AFNS) — People began trickling into the Hall of Heroes in the Pentagon. Roughly 15 minutes before go-time, it is filled to the brim. Everyone came there to see one person and hear his story; a story so historical and significant it could make anyone swell with pride.

The health care program for more than 9.5 million world-wide beneficiaries is changing the pharmacy benefit portion of its coverage. According to a TRICARE announcement, beginning Oct. 1, TRICARE beneficiaries using select name-brand maintenance drugs will be forced to switch their prescription to a military pharmacy or the program’s home delivery service known as Express Scripts or face paying full price for the prescription. Select maintenance drugs are medications taken for chronic conditions, such as high cholesterol or high blood pressure. The ruling does not affect medications for acute conditions, such as cases where antibiotics are needed short-term.

There is a growing consensus among the medical community that lack of sleep, or disturbed sleep, left untreated on a regular basis can lead to heart disease, respiratory conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes and even neurological disorders. It may also put patients at a risk of premature death.
Suffering chronic pain in his left hip due to severe arthritis, George Devanney was told in 2006 he would “just know” when it was time for hip replacement surgery. Given his age, he thought his hip should last for a few more years, though he’d been limping for months.
In a release issued by State Attorney Bill Eddins, it was announced that Michael Parish Cardelro Henry has been sentenced to life imprisonment on the charges of Kidnapping, Burglary of a Dwelling and Sexual Battery.
