County investigation: No improper dealings, but areas of concern noted
On April 29, 2021, a complaint was received by the human resources department from a county employee in reference to an improper business relationship between county staff and the waste hauler franchisee. To investigate this allegation, the county utilized an independent third party. Santa Rosa County has received the report from the independent investigator, which found no evidence of improper dealings between county staff and the waste hauler franchisee.
