Snow very probable this Tuesday in Northwest Florida
After a cold front moves through the area this weekend, some wintery precipitation is very likely Tuesday in Northwest Florida, according to the National Weather Service in Mobile.
Saturday is projected to be the warmest day we’ve had in a while with highs close to 70, followed by cold precipitation on Tuesday. Whether that will be snow, freezing rain or sleet all depends on the vertical temperature profile and how far away from the warm Gulf of Mexico you are.

Purchased by Santa Rosa County in late Summer 2024 from their homeowners, the houses at 2252 and 2260 Avenida De Sol were torn down Jan. 14 and 15.

Phase 3 of Navarre Beach restoration begins this week
The Navarre Beach Restoration Project continues to make steady progress along the beach. The project began on Monday, Dec. 23 on the west end of Navarre Beach. Phase 1 is expected to be completed by the weekend and Phase 2 is already complete. Restoration is expected to begin within Phase 3 of the project by late this week, from Beach Access #39A west to Beach Access #38B.
