Brigitte Brahms moved to Navarre in 1994. She was active-duty Air Force from 1991-2001 and has worked as a civilian on base since 2003. She is currently the Nurse Manager of Pediatrics at Hurlburt Field.

Her husband, Keith, is a pilot for Delta Airlines. She has two children, Nick and Olivia, who are graduates of Navarre High. Nick plays football for the Auburn Tigers.

Medical helicopters have removed multiple patients from a rollover accident at Wallace Lake Road and Chumuckla Highway in the north end of Santa Rosa County. At least one person has been confirmed dead, according to preliminary information from the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident was called in at 9:41 a.m. and extrication was required.
