Updated: Severe weather may be heading this way
Updated: The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory along the entire coast overnight into Thursday. The highest surf is expected along the western Florida panhandle. High surf conditions are expected to persist through Friday afternoon before subsiding Friday night. A high risk of rip currents begins tonight and will persist through Friday night.

Midway Water System released a statement this morning regarding the cross-connection incident which caused unsafe potable water conditions for hundreds of residents in the Soundside Drive area. The incident has been ongoing for nearly two weeks and is still being rectified.
