A suspect in the Pine Ranch Drive shooting case has been arrested. Joshua Richard Huston, 47, is currently in Santa Rosa County Jail for his role in an incident that put a man in the hospital with a gunshot wound on Mon., Nov. 7. According to the warrant report for Huston’s arrest, deputies responded to a reported shooting at 2075 Pine Ranch Drive in Navarre yesterday at 2 a.m. According to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, the deputies encountered Huston, who owns the undeveloped lot where the shooting occurred.

The firefighters of Holley Navarre Fire District say they have been hearing that sound more and more, and with 53 square miles to cover, it can be difficult to manage.
