Hurlburt commissaries affected by furloughs
HURLBURT FIELD – The Defense Commissary Agency implemented policy to carry out employee furloughs for 11 total days, between July 8 and Sept. 30.
Massive area cleanup planned June 8th
In an effort to show and encourage good stewardship of public lands, generations of dog hunters are planning to clean up trash and other debris littered across parts of Eglin reservation and in certain areas of the Holley community, which lies adjacent to the southeast border of Eglin. The clean-up is scheduled for , Saturday, June 8.

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, Navy League Santa Rosa Council members held a social honoring NAS Whiting Field active duty May 9 at Blackwater Bistro in downtown Milton. Serving heavy hors d'oeuvres on the restaurant’s spacious front porch where over 50 people, mostly active duty personnel, gathered to celebrate.
