Special Wings take flight at Holley studio
Will Lake was singing from the heart as he belted out the lyrics to “Special Wings” last Thursday at Coleman Sound Studios in Holley. Unfortunately, Lake was also singing from personal experience as he and friend Ken Rousseau recorded the tune about children suffering overseas.

Helping families rise out of poverty
Holley-Navarre Primary School has 45 students who are homeless and a student poverty rate that approaches 30 percent. The greater Navarre and Midway area has a population in which 14 percent live below the poverty level. However, a program started last summer is making strides toward reducing those numbers.
