Dozens of Navarre High School students took the stage Friday at the school’s annual talent show, which featured singing, instrumental performances, dancing and stand-up comedy. Row after row of seats in the high school cafeteria were filled with parents, relatives and friends of those performing.

Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) has released its list of fall term 2013 graduates, including honors graduates. Five hundred and twenty-two (522) individuals completed studies at the college during the fall term that ended in December. Navarre area graduates included:

Students at West Navarre Intermediate School who competed in the school’s annual Geography Bee by answering questions like these were recognized at a reception Feb. 12. Classroom winners received prizes and were introduced on the school’s morning TV show.

Only a few days after Santa Rosa County School Board District 3 Representative Diane Coleman announced she would not seek re-election, another candidate – Jim Taylor – has decided he will join the race. Prior to Coleman’s announcement, only Debra Gunnoe had pre-filed for the race having done so Nov. 13, 2013.
