Members of the Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office SWAT team assisted other deputies as they attempted to serve several active warrants on a man residing at the 1200 block of Sanibel Lane in Gulf Breeze Tuesday.
A man broke into a Milton residence with a sledgehammer Saturday and threatened two of his neighbors, according to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office announced it is actively seeking 46-year-old Joseph Warran McMillan, Jr. in connection with multiple thefts of construction style batteries. Detectives recently concluded their investigation with sufficient evidence being collected to obtain multiple arrest warrants. McMillan is charged with three counts of criminal mischief, two counts of felony burglary and one count of felony larceny.
A 19-year-old man was arrested Monday after reportedly breaking into two Gulf Breeze residences, according to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission officials, at the direction of the State Attorney’s Office, sought an arrest warrant, charging Johnny Lee Farmer, 31, of Milton, with two felony counts in connection with the Nov. 30 accidental shooting death of his friend, Chris Garrett. Farmer was arrested Jan. 31.
A 19-year-old Milton man was arrested Sunday for domestic violence with a baseball bat, according to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
Another arrest has been made in connection to a firearm burglary that took place in Navarre Jan. 8, according to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
In a competency hearing held Jan. 23, Brandon Aydelott was ordered to the Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee to undergo a mental evaluation, which is expected to be complete within six months. Aydelott was found incompetent to stand trial in the Christmas Eve murder of his mom, Holley Navarre Middle School teacher Sharon Aydelott.
