Shortly after midnight Nov. 24, Santa Rosa County deputies nabbed four burglary suspects at the Eglin Federal Credit Union, located at 8540 Navarre Parkway. Officers and SWAT team members responded to an alarm activation and found three suspects inside the building. One driver was also taken into custody.
Thelma Denise Lowery, the Milton day care owner accused in the death of 16-month-old Brodie Michael Kent, was indicted on a first-degree murder charge on Nov. 4.

Four juvenile female runaways from Texas were arrested by Santa Rosa County deputies Sunday morning after crashing a stolen car on Navarre Beach Causeway. There were no injuries. The oldest runaway was 14 years old.
Keanu Medina, the 19-year-old Navarre man who police said crashed his Chevrolet Tahoe into a Jeep Liberty, killing the driver, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of DUI manslaughter.
