Spring break completion of Navarre Beach light less likely
District 4 Commissioner Dave Piech gave an update on the proposed traffic light on Gulf Blvd. at Thursday’s Tourism Development Council meeting. The new traffic light system will cost $350,000 and will require over 250 days to execute.
New nonstop service offered locally to Minneapolis, Las Vegas
Allegiant Airlines announced last week that it would be offering new nonstop service to Minneapolis and Las Vegas out of Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport.
Tucked into an old neighborhood along a railroad, the West Florida Railroad Museum honors a world connected by rail. The museum – the former Milton depot built more than 100 years ago – is maintained by about 10 volunteers who wish there were a lot more.
