As cheesy as it might sound, answering an ad on Craig’s List has changed the lives of Jessika Hickman and the members of Sacred, a self-described “alternative metal” band that is building a following regionally. And now, the band is enjoying the release of its first album “Ashes to Ascension.”

The Panhandle Butterfly House is once again planning a party to celebrate the monarch butterfly’s annual migration to Mexico. The Monarch Madness Butterfly Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 4 and 5 at the Panhandle Butterfly House, located in Navarre Park where U.S. Highway 98 meets the Navarre Beach Bridge.
