The boardwalk along the Santa Rosa Sound at Navarre Park is set for demolition by the county public works department in the near future. Crews would have already started tearing down the structure but recent unprecedented rainfall has kept them busy with road work and drainage issues. It is undetermined if the boardwalk will be reconstructed.

Even before the distribution officially began at 10 a.m., cars were lining up in the Winn Dixie parking lot waiting to receive food and supplies.
