Bill Davidson joined the Air Force in 1962, soon after graduating from Semmes High School near Mobile. By the time he retired in 1985 as a Chief Master Sergeant, he’d left footprints across the globe and volunteered, graduated, and taught at many of the toughest military survival training schools.

Navarre Vet takes lead in animal cruelty case
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested the owners of Kirkham Kattery Rescue in Milton on charges of animal cruelty after 225 felines were removed from their residence. After removal, the cats were taken to the Santa Rosa County Animal Services facility where Dr. Natalie Dyson, a Navarre veterinarian, worked late into the night evaluating the animals.

Dressed in colorful clothing and ornate jewelry, a Samburu warrior came to speak to kids at the Gulf Breeze Zoo Sunday about his culture and his experience growing up in northern Kenya. Francis Lenyakopiro is a member of the African Samburu tribe, a nomadic people who raise cattle and live in huts.
