Public input requested for comprehensive plan update
Santa Rosa County planners are asking for public input as the county’s Comprehensive Plan is updated. The Comprehensive Plan is an official public document adopted by the Santa Rosa County Commission that sets forth the county’s policies and guides decision-making related to the physical development of the county.

Residential yard waste pick-up – container, bundle or bag it
Yard waste pick up service is available at no extra charge to Santa Rosa County residents with curbside household garbage service provided by ECUA, Waste Management or Waste Pro and who do not live in a city’s limits. To use this service, yard waste must be containerized or bundled and be no more than 50 pounds each. Items not placed in containers, bundles or bags and/or are too heavy, will not be picked up and must be disposed of by residents at their own expense.
