TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida’s unemployment dipped to its lowest level in more than four years in January when it fell to 7.8 percent, the state’s Department of Economic Opportunity reported March 18.
Florida Rep. Doug Broxson, R-Midway, provided updates on drilling, the Pensacola Bay Bridge, and the future of U.S. Highway 98, among other issues, during the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s Feb. 22 Commerce and Coffee breakfast meeting.
The Club at Hidden Creek recently announced the hiring of Shanean Ridgley as director of sales and marketing. Before accepting the position, Ridgley was the regional membership sales director for Meadowbrook Golf. She will be Hidden Creek’s contact person for special events, golf tournaments, memberships and advertising.
Bob Pforte Motors brought its inventory to Navarre this week in the form of a “tent sale” and sold more than 45 used vehicles. The physical location for Pforte motors is in Marianna, 129 miles to the east.
