County Attorney warns TDC of emails
Less than one month after State Attorney Bill Eddins’ Office concluded the review of a complaint over altered minutes and found no wrongdoing, Santa Rosa County Tourist Development (TDC) officials received a warning from Santa Rosa County Attorney Angela Jones. Jones issued an email to council members concerning a possible violation of Florida’s Sunshine Law.

Gulf Power gets rate hike

Gulf states get first $113M from oil spill fines
JACKSON, Miss. — The five states that border the Gulf of Mexico are getting $113 million to improve the environment, the first small chunk of $2.5 billion that BP and Transocean were fined as a result of criminal pleas last year following the 2010 Gulf oil spill.
