As Navarre continues to grow, new businesses open, while others expand and celebrate anniversaries. The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates all of these events with its members.

Stacy LeCroy’s little office is in the garden of her parents’ home.

Recently she’d begun to realize that, while she enjoyed her work photographing at schools under Emerald Coast School Photos, it was time to take the next step and start her own business. 

Since moving to Navarre at the end of 2019, Heather Fields has discovered a favorite hang-out spot.

Several times a week, she heads to the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, where she spends hours.

If photographers still had dark rooms, Brook Siar’s would be in the RV she shares with her husband in an RV park in Holt.

The two moved down here in 2019, after her husband was laid off and she left her job in human resources in Pennsylvania.

The fifth annual Women Empowering Women Symposium, hosted by the American Business Women’s Association Emerald Coast Chapter, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021 via Zoom.

There’s a new food truck in town and it’s bringing a one-of-a-kind eating experience. Loudoe’s is a mother and son tag team serving up burgers, cheesesteaks, bagel grilled cheeses, gourmet fries and even edible cookie dough. Loudoe’s also has vegetarian and vegan options, serving up Beyond Meat versions of their beef burgers as well as vegetarian-friendly grilled cheeses.

Pik-itz held a grand opening of Food Truck Alley on Saturday, June 26, with the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of
Commerce. Pik-its is located at 1922 State Road 87 in Navarre.

Navarre’s newest coffee shop, Perfect Blend Coffee Company, which will employ teenagers and adults with disabilities, is set to open in a couple short weeks.

Construction started about a year ago on the north end of Harvest Village Plaza. The grand opening is set for July 12 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Diverse food options are coming to the Midway area in the form of food trucks, thanks to local business owner Steven Aitken. Serving food ranging from Cajun and barbecue to coffee and desserts, GB Eatery Food Truck Plaza will be a one-stop shop, located at the intersection of Woodlawn Way and Highway 98.

Aitken said he hopes to open GB Eatery Food Truck Plaza in two to three months, near the end of summer.
