The Pink Pirates of Navarre donated $20,000 to Baptist Health Care’s mammogram fund on April 27, through their 2021 fundraising efforts.

The fund provides mammograms to uninsured women in the communities Baptist serves.

The community of Navarre has been steadily growing over the past decade.

In 2000, there were around 20,000 people in Navarre, according to census numbers. Now there are more than 41,000 people.

With the tragic news of Cassie Carli’s body being discovered in Alabama, the search efforts of friends, family and volunteers ended.

The Navarre community and other parts of Northwest Florida helped in the search effort over the six days that Carli was missing.
