Three kayak fishermen rescued a badly injured Loggerhead sea turtle Tuesday after they found it exhausted and close to death about a half-mile off shore at Navarre Beach.

Volunteers showed their support for the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center at a recent volunteer orientation meeting. The center, which is run entirely by volunteer positions, had 41 volunteers attend the meeting at the Hampton Inn ready to help in any way possible.
