‘Perfect storm’ of trash problems hits Navarre Beach
The end of the first week of Waste Pro once-a-week trash collection in the south end of the county was complicated by a storm that pummeled the area Saturday.

The Navarre Beach Safety Division is in its third year. There are 30 lifeguards on staff that range in age from 16-61 and they are employed by the Navarre Beach Fire and Rescue.

They are one of the smaller shorebirds on Navarre Beach and appear to be the busiest.
Sanderlings, the gray and white birds that run back and forth along the water’s edge, spend the winter in places like Northwest Florida and summer in the Arctic.
