Despite being closed to the public, the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center was packed last week as educators from all-around and from all disciplines got a little wild with a Project WILD workshop.
Broussard’s Bayou Grill and Cajun Specialty Meats opened their doors Sunday night on Navarre Beach for an invite-only preview of the soon-to-be open eatery.
In the early morning hours on Navarre Beach, many sights can be seen. The shorebirds begin to accumulate as the sun rises and small fish swim in the waves. A few people take advantage of the early hour to get in a morning jog or take a quick ride on a surf board.
Eight sea turtles made their scuttle to freedom Tuesday on beaches at Fort Pickens as the Gulfarium C.A.R.E. Center released the rehabilitated reptiles back into the Gulf of Mexico.
