Ag commissioner cracks down on hemp companies for marketing to children

Two hemp companies operating in Florida have been dealt a blow thanks to enforcement actions taken by Florida Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson. On July 11, the state Department of Agriculture announced that Just Brands, LLC and High Roller Private Label, LLC violated state statute against the selling and manufacturing of hemp products attractive to children and were subsequently banned from selling certain products for multiple years.
Two hemp companies have been banned from selling and manufacturing their products due to violating state law.
