A tale of survival: Steve Nissim shares how his father survived the Holocaust

Steve Nissim, the external communication specialist for Ascension Sacred Heart and a former sports anchor at WEAR-TV 3, has made a name for himself along the Gulf Coast. While Nissim is a self-made man in many respects, if it weren’t for his father’s harrowing journey during World War II, he might have never gotten the opportunity.
