Out with the old and in with the new at the Gulf Breeze Zoo. The team is always working to improve their facility and make it more enjoyable for its animals and its guests.

In the past month, the Gulf Breeze Zoo has moved its bats to another facility and used their building as the new home to their Hoff man’s Two-Toed Sloths Blue (male) and Zelda (female). The staff hopes the two will mate so there will be adorable baby sloths hanging around, but the two have put each other in the “friend zone” for now.
In the back of the zoo, a large budgie aviary is being constructed. This area will replace the current aviary and welcome even more birds for guests to feed.
