Espresso Lane shifts gears: Celebrating old memories and new horizons

It’s been an amazing 2.5 years at 8649 Gulf Blvd. for Espresso Lane. Unfortunately, Andy D’s will not be renewing the lease on the space currently occupied by Espresso Lane.

Over the last few years Espresso Lane has built a community, it has been more than just a coffee shop; it has been a vibrant community hub where friendships have flourished. From welcoming vacationers who return year after year to nurturing bonds with local residents, this cherished spot has seen it all. Each day a group of military veterans gathers here, a steadfast circle of friends united by their shared service. These honored guests come to reminisce about old times, share stories of camaraderie and courage, and enjoy the company of vacationers and locals. Their daily meetings at our coffee shop weave a rich tapestry of friendship and respect, enriching our community with their presence and their history. It’s a place where the local sea turtle rescue team has found a homey pitstop after nest assessments and a place to educate and inform the community about our sea turtle population and nesting season. It’s where babies have grown up before our eyes, taking their first steps and saying their first words. Four-legged friends have been celebrated as part of the family, making every visit special.

Espresso Lane has woven itself into the fabric of our lives, creating a tapestry of shared moments and lasting connections.

Espresso Lane began as a mobile drive-thru with a vision to connect with the beach community. When a loyal customer suggested reaching out to Broussard’s, the restaurant occupying 8649 Gulf Blvd at the time, things quickly fell into place. Within a few weeks, Espresso Lane transitioned from its mobile setup to an inviting new home in the restaurant’s unused bar area, opening its doors to serve the community from within the restaurant.

Beach Boy – a most faithful regular

Although the indoor location at 8649 Gulf Blvd will be closing, the Mobile Caboose at 8228 Gulf Blvd. will remain open, continuing to serve up the same amazing drinks and smiles. For a Grand Closing Celebration and also Grand Opening Celebration, Espresso Lane has an “End Of Summer” event planned for Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. beginning at 8649 Gulf Blvd. location for a Grand Closing and then moving on to 8228 Gulf Blvd. for a fun-filled Grand Opening.

As we approach the end of summer, Susan would love to focus on celebrating and appreciating her valued customers and relationships built. Join Espresso Lane in these final months for a cup of coffee and cherished memories and to sign the guest book. Follow their social media account on Facebook and Instagram @Espressolane98 for customer appreciation features.

Thank you for being a part of our journey.
