For 65 years Waterfront Rescue Mission (WRM) has been serving the hungry and poor in the local community. The mission is gearing up to provide a warm meal on Christmas Day and additional support during the impending cold weather season, and staff members said volunteers are needed.
Volunteers recently served hundreds of free, hot meals during Waterfront Rescue Mission’s annual Thanksgiving dinner. More help is needed for the upcoming Christmas banquet.
