It’s a different approach. Instead of dividing, one classroom at Holley Navarre Primary is multiplying. As of Oct. 8, a few lucky kindergartners got the opportunity to learn from two teachers in one classroom.
Laura Looze and Jenna Junkins split their class into small groups for instruction in the core curriculum areas of mathematics and language arts. The smaller groups change the student-teacher ratio from 1:19 to 1:10.
