Building “Bridges Out of Poverty”

In Santa Rosa County, roughly four out of every 10 people are living in poverty conditions. To address their unmet needs, Dr. Karen Barber, a school district administrator, and other community leaders are starting a nonprofit organization called Santa Rosa Bridges.
Santa Rosa Bridges holds classes to help impoverished community members discover resources to help attain self-sufficiency.
