Junior Ranger Program available locally

Gov. Rick Scott proclaimed July as Recreation and Parks Month, observing that parks and recreation programs contribute to a healthy lifestyle, boost the state’s economy and promote cultural diversity.
The Florida Park Service offers its Junior Ranger Program in about half of the state’s 171 parks and trails, including Blackwater River State Park in Santa Rosa County.
