Environmental groups make case to RESTORE

The long-awaited finalization of the U.S. Department of Treasury guidelines for funds resulting from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill is expected soon, and the Santa Rosa County RESTORE Council is hearing presentations monthly from groups making their case for local RESTORE funding.

A gully in the Yellow River watershed in the eastern part of Santa Rosa County exemplifies local erosion problems.
