Bible reading permitted in Fla. school district

According to a nonprofit legal group, the Broward County Public Schools May 19 announced that students are permitted to read their Bibles as part of free reading time and during an Accelerated Reader Program.
Giovanni Rubeo, a fifth grader in Broward County Public Schools, hails victory May 19. Attorneys with Liberty Institute received assurances from Broward County Public Schools that students are permitted to read their Bibles as a part of free reading time and during the Accelerated Reader® Program.
