Zookeeper Megan Heidenreick bottle feeds Gamba, a 2-month-old giraffe at Gulf Breeze Zoo.
The baby giraffe born two months ago at Gulf Breeze Zoo finally has a name. After a monthlong naming contest, Gulf Breeze Zoo announced Friday that the winning submission was Gamba, which is African in origin and means “warrior.”
