During the annual county budgeting process, Supervisor of Elections Tappie Villane requested an increase in funding attributed to the upcoming 2014 election cycle. One significant increase Villane noted during her July presentation to county commissioners was the leasing of special equipment for voters with disabilities or conditions which make it difficult to mark a traditional ballot.
