Michael Sandle received a scholarship offer from Florida A&M earlier this summer, but his focus at the moment isn’t on where he will play at the next level.
The Navarre senior wide receiver and defensive back is focused instead on the season ahead, one in which the Raiders hope leads to a district championship and deep postseason run.
“I try not to think about the offers,” Sandle said. “My focus is on the season and working hard to make myself a better player. The other stuff, you worry about that when the time comes.”
Sandle and his Raider teammates were at it again this week for another round of summer workouts, practicing in the unforgiving July heat at Bennett C. Russell Stadium.
“It’s really hot, but it’s fun,” Sandle said. And the work is making us better.”
